DLP Leisure Facilities Terms & Conditions
Here's our contract. If you're ready to move forward with your reservation, simply click here, and you'll be taken through the steps to book directly - super easy!
It's really important you read through this agreement carefully, as you are entering into an agreement with us by booking the property(s) of your choice. When your reservation is successfully booked, a contract will come into existence between all parties, including yourself and the owners of the property(s). Once we have received payment from you at that time, and once we accept your booking by issuing a confirmation, we will begin to process payments for all persons detailed on your booking. We are also responsible for paying any third-party suppliers. It is up to us to ensure that all members of your party accept the terms of any written agreements set out in our terms & conditions - so it's very important that everyone agrees beforehand. And if something does go wrong, then it will be up to us to fix it together
The contract binds all members of your party and yourself to our terms. It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your party accept the conditions set out in the contract included as part of our terms and conditions. It is also important that you are familiar with said terms and conditions, which detail our policies on financial obligations related to the reservation, since failure to abide by our policies may lead to the cancellation of your reservation if we are no longer able to find another guest(s) interested in staying at DLP between now and the date you've requested.
Payment
A non-refundable deposit of £50 will be deducted from your credit card at the time of booking. We ask that the remaining balance be paid in full a couple of weeks before your arrival. If you fail to do so, your reservation will be canceled, and your original payment amount will not be refunded.
Cancellations
If your family wishes to cancel a booking, it is important to notify us as soon as possible, via email or telephone, for instance. Cancellation costs are very high, so we strongly advise you to have your own holiday insurance.
Cancellation 5 weeks or more prior to your check-in date – loss of deposit.
Cancellation 4 weeks prior to your check-in date - 50% charge of total booking.
Cancellation 2 weeks or less of check-in date - 100% charge of total booking.
Your booking with us would rarely be cancelled, but in the off chance that it does happen, we'll provide you with as much advance notice as possible! We'll make sure to reach out to you using the contact information you've provided so that we can issue a full refund for any payments made by you. Even if this does happen, know that your vacation will still be covered because of our Travel Insurance!
Party Limitations
Our lodges have the capacity to sleep 6 people comfortably. Only those individuals who are listed on the booking contract may stay or visit the premises, but pets are strictly forbidden. Any breach of this rule will likely get you ejected from the premises without a refund. By signing this contract, you agree to be fully responsible for any damage inadvertently caused by yourself or your party and that damages will be covered solely and entirely by your own personal liability insurance policy, which we require all bookings to possess prior to check-in.
Bookings cannot be accepted by any persons under the age of 18 years.
Checking in
Check-in is from 2 PM. However, if you arrive before check-in and don't mind waiting, we're more than happy to welcome you earlier! While we can accommodate you quickly and would appreciate your understanding and cooperation on this point, it is at the extent of our ability to keep the rooms in as clean a condition as possible for all our guests, so please be prepared to vacate by 11 AM every day. We are also appreciative when you leave the place exactly how it was found (or even better!) so prepare tips for housekeeping & maintenance guys who will ensure everything runs smoothly.
Prohibitions
Please make sure when you're on your vacation to keep smoking out of the apartment as well. No smoking is permitted within the premises, and people who break this rule will be charged with a month-to-month fine after a second warning sign (this is included in your lease).
Pets are welcome IF they would get cleared first by one of our employees. Needless to say, if your pet were to cause us any extra cleaning expenses or property damage, it would be charged to you (in addition to termination of lease).
Damages
As a Host, you agree to be responsible for any loss or damages incurred on your property during your party and, if necessary, work with your guests to resolve any issues that might arise.
When you book your stay with us to protect yourself and us from any theft, breakage, or damage, you are saying that if someone in your group steals something or breaks something while they are here, they are stealing it or breaking it and will pay for whatever is lost like a laptop computer.
Thank you very much in advance for this consideration. Also, if something does happen, we are pleased to be able to help you out with insurance and emergency lending, so please don't hesitate to find us as soon as possible before we get there. Finally, should anything go wrong with anything, please do not feel shy about letting us know. Any kind of accident or problem involving our premises or fittings will be charged at full replacement value.
Treat the accommodation and facilities with care! Don't forget to work up a sweat, leaving the premises cleaner than before your arrival. If you notice any damage, please let us know immediately so that appropriate actions are taken. Accidents do happen naturally from time to time. We won't treat you like a criminal if there have been breakages during your stay; we just ask that you put things right as soon as possible or advise us before you leave so that we can take proper action. Accommodation is inspected thoroughly at the end of your stay. Don't be surprised if you get charged for any loss or damage discovered on inspection; some bits of equipment may require healthcare bills to help them live happily ever after!
Rules to follow
We ask that you lock the door behind you when you leave. This is to ensure the safety of everything inside your home as well as be considerate to any other guests that may be occupying a neighboring property. In the event that there is an issue with your key getting locked inside, it would be best that you call a professional locksmith to come and either open the door or create a new key for you; they are typically cheaper than calling us out! Concerning this, please try not to lose your keys during your stay because if you do, it will cost you to have us create a new set for you.
We want everyone who stays in our properties to feel safe, secure, and comfortable, so we encourage good behavior - which means no partying, loud music, or disrespectful behavior of any kind!
When it comes to putting a foot wrong in the world of property-based holidays, there are quite a few things that guests need to keep in mind. For starters – don't damage the place. It may happen unintentionally, but be sure you let us know about anything that happens during your stay, whether or not this is at the fault of your own because these can seriously affect our income and make it hard for us to manage as well.
The rule of thumb is to assume responsibility up until you prove otherwise, which goes back to one of the first points – make sure they know as soon as possible if something happens and do keep it low in volume (noise level) so you don't disturb others who surround you and live around nearby, especially if owners just follow next door! Lastly – respect lodge things and property as if it were your own because they treat it like they would want you to treat yours!
Safety
It's generally a good idea to make sure that you've always got someone with you before trying to get into a Jacuzzi. We suggest keeping adults and unsupervised children away from the other patrons in this way because we'd hate for someone to do something that might be dangerous for the childish guests! Our staff is happy to help out wherever possible.
At your assistance
Some additional helpful information, such as local attractions or contact details in case of an emergency, will also be included in your guest pack, which is left for you upon your arrival. Just remember, our resort is a family-friendly attraction, and there are no STAG or HEN parties allowed. We strongly advise that you contact us with any questions about our site.
